Marathon season ends by mid-November. There is a marathon drought during the winter. To continue his long distance running habit during the winter months, Scott Gallagher created the Run4RKids Indoor Ultra Marathon and Fun Run Fundraiser Event scheduled for January 4th, 2014.

A winter classic! The race starts at the base of Hydro Hill near the end of Lockhart Drive, St. Catharines (near Brock) http://goo.gl/maps/433Sw and follows the 12 Mile Creek trail out and back. Did we forget to mention you get to do the notorious Hydro Hill twice? Half marathoners and walkers are welcome!
No entry fee, but there are no marshals or aid stations, so you should have run the course before in the winter, or have a running partner who knows the course!
Full (Fool) marathon starts at 8 am, half at 10 am.
The post-race party will be held at our club's home, the Niagara Ball Hockey Club, 16 Melbourne Ave. St. Catharines http://goo.gl/maps/B8TsC starting about 12:30pm.
