The half marathon will start in the heart of Oak Bay's charming shopping district at Oak Bay Ave. & Wilmot Pl. After winding its way through the historic residential setting of Oak Bay, the course loops out and back along the scenic seaside route of Beach Dr. to Loon Bay Park with one gradual hill, making its way down hill to the finish line in Oak Bay.

The half marathon course will start and follow the marathon course until it reaches the Skaha Estates area of Skaha Lake (approximately 13km from the start). The course will turn and return back to the finish at Skaha Beach. This course avoids all the major hills of the marathon course.
