37th Annual BMO Vancouver Marathon-Both Full and Half Marathon courses are certified and recognized by Athletics Canada/ Run Canada, AIMS and the IAAF. The Full Marathon course is a Boston Marathon qualifying event.

The starts are all directly in front of the North entrance of Place d'Orleans Shopping Centre and head directly North on Champlain St. to the Ottawa River Recreational Pathway. From here all runners head West on the path to their respective turn around points.

A beautiful run that encompasses much of Mississauga?s beauty. This point to point course is a fast net downhill. The course starts at Mississauga?s City Hall, and makes its way west across the Credit River to Mississauga Road and then travels south for a beautiful stretch past the University of Toronto?s Mississauga Campus, Mississaugua Golf Club, and continues through some of Mississauga?s most beautiful residential neighbourhoods, before winding along the scenic Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail and finishing on the edge of Lake Ontario at Lakefront Promenade Park. Walkers are welcome; there is NO prizing category for walkers.

The half marathon course will start and follow the marathon course until it reaches the Skaha Estates area of Skaha Lake (approximately 13km from the start). The course will turn and return back to the finish at Skaha Beach. This course avoids all the major hills of the marathon course.

For the 50 mile racers there will be just over a 5 km out and back route at the start of your run to get the extra distance. If you are an optimist, all the hills will be good for tightening your butt. If you are a pessimist, well too bad, because the race director is an optimist and enjoy your new tight butt.
