The starts are all directly in front of the North entrance of Place d'Orleans Shopping Centre and head directly North on Champlain St. to the Ottawa River Recreational Pathway. From here all runners head West on the path to their respective turn around points.

A beautiful run that encompasses much of Mississauga?s beauty. This point to point course is a fast net downhill. The course starts at Mississauga?s City Hall, and makes its way west across the Credit River to Mississauga Road and then travels south for a beautiful stretch past the University of Toronto?s Mississauga Campus, Mississaugua Golf Club, and continues through some of Mississauga?s most beautiful residential neighbourhoods, before winding along the scenic Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail and finishing on the edge of Lake Ontario at Lakefront Promenade Park. Walkers are welcome; there is NO prizing category for walkers.

Participants in the other races, the Downtown Fredericton 5K Fun Run, Irving 10K and McDonald's Half-Marathon, also have the opportunity to participate in one of the largest and most exciting running events in Atlantic Canada. They enjoy the same organization, support and excitement as the marathon.
The Fredericton Marathon is certified and a Boston Marathon qualifier.
