The 10km course winds you through the Nordic Ski Park. The 25km course uses Brookvale Provincial Park, the nordic ski trails, single-track mountain bike trails, a heritage road, and Provincial Forestry Demonstration Woodlot trails. The 50km route is a second loop of the 25km course.

The 2009 Yellowknife Overlander Marathon will be held on Sunday August 16th. Registration forms and information sheets will be posted on the website. In town participants will be able to register at Overlander Sports. Out of town participants may register by faxing in the registration form (once available) to Overlander Sports and can pay the cash fee on Saturday August 15th when picking up your race kit.
